Doctoral Symposium

The goal of the Symposium is to provide a supportive yet questioning setting in which graduated students can present their work. The Student Symposium is an opportunity for doctoral students involved in the preparation of a Master thesis or a PhD thesis in any related topics of ICRAT'08 to interactively discuss their research issues and ideas with senior researchers, receive constructive feedback from members of the research community and expose themselves as future IT researchers. Students will be able to discuss their goals, methods, and results at an early stage in their research as well as the difficulties, problems and questions that they encounter in the continuation of their work and can ask for comments from the audience. The Symposium aims to provide useful guidance for completion of the dissertation research and initiation of a research career.

Financial Support

Financial support for participating in this conference is available to a limited number of young scientist and PhD students. Financial support can only be requested by sending e-mail to grants@icrat.org.
